The Certificate in Music Production program is designed to give audio engineers and producers foundational and vocational readiness from a Christian perspective. The program is designed to introduce the student to the tools and techniques used to produce music in the modern recording studio while nurturing the student’s passion to serve the church or industry with Christian character. The student will gain an introductory knowledge of current technology, recording techniques, and music production skills. The student will have an opportunity to engineer student recordings and live sound settings of Visible Music College. Skills and knowledge acquired in the program equip students to work as producers and engineers and focuses on using industry-standard programs Logic and Pro Tools.
Upon graduation, the student will:
• be prepared to find gainful employment in churches, studios, and live sound venues
• have an understanding of how the mechanics of sound apply to modern recording techniques and live sound reinforcement.

This is the perfect option for those looking to do a “Gap Year” or maybe you’re not quite ready to commit to a full bachelor’s degree program. As an in-person Certificate student, you would have the opportunity to live in our student housing, grow spiritually in our worship times together, be challenged in accountability groups, take part in numerous Visible events, and even more! The in-person experience goes beyond just attending classes – it’s ten intense months of spiritual growth, amazing hands-on opportunities, new friendships and the training you’ve been looking for to launch you into your career.
MINIMUM ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Visible’s online Certificate program is designed for those looking to gain greater knowledge in the areas of Modern Music, Music Production, Music Business, or Creative Leadership. This mode of learning is fully remote and allows you to stay in your current location. Your coursework will be distributed on a 7 week schedule, with assignments having specific deadlines, but the rest is up to you in your local spiritual community! This program is perfect for those with a full-time job, or who are unable to relocate to our Memphis campus. We want you to have every opportunity to grow in your passion with the best instruction possible in a format that fits into your current rhythm of life.
