Housing FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Community is such a large part of the Visible Music College culture and rhythm. Residing in student housing is considered a fundamental part of our student’s education.

Therefore, all first-year students, freshmen, second years, and sophomores are required to live on campus in our student housing.

Housing is such an important role of the life of the student and we believe that living in a small artist community is beneficial to students in their personal and academic success.

Since 2000, we have had a history of successful student progress living in campus housing. Higher grades (by 0.5 GPA average), fewer policy exemptions, better retention, and higher percentage of graduation.

We prefer that every student lives on campus and we’ve revamped the Student Housing for student community and safety.

We will send out an email assigning you a roommate so that you can plan what to bring.

The sooner you are registered the sooner we can get that information to you.

Access to the Visible Cafe is included in the cost of Student Housing.

The Visible Cafe is our version of a meal plan. Monday through Friday we provide breakfast and lunch at our cafe.

Unlike normal college meal plans, the bulk of what we provide to eat are healthy options instead of fried food and sugar.

We encourage healthy lifestyle through the food choices that the cafe provides – it helps your brain work!
