Our Atrium can accommodate up to 200 guests, with our Concert Hall accommodating up to 150 guests. We have both banquet-style and buffet-style tables to be used for your event.

We do not have our own catering services on site so we will encourage you to use any catering company of your choice. There’s also convenient parking right across the street at the Toyota Center Garage. Parking rates can be negotiated with them independently.

Our rates vary depending on the day of the week, and package rates for both spaces are available. We offer half-price to all non-profit organizations.

FAQs

Most frequent questions and answers

CAN I USE ANY CATERER I WANT?

Yes, you can certainly use any licensed caterer. All we ask is to see proof of insurance from the caterer.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL?

Please see our PRICING GUIDE HERE. On the price sheet it shows the amount of tables and chairs are included with the rental.

WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN I HOST AT VISIBLE MUSIC COLLEGE?

We’ve hosted a variety of different events from Educational Training Seminars, Weekend or Weekday (in the summer) Conferences, birthday parties, corporate dinners or brunches, Rehearsal Dinners, and Wedding Receptions.

If you can dream it, we can help to make it a reality. The only events that we don’t hold are wedding ceremonies.

WHAT IS THE ALCOHOL POLICY?

You may certainly bring in alcohol to your event. If you are serving alcohol we ask that you obtain a Special Event’s Policy which is a liability insurance for the building.

If you would like a cash bar, you would need licensed bar tenders, Special Event’s Policy, and the correct paperwork to be able to sell alcohol. Please talk to us if you are planning on selling alcohol, we want to make sure the proper legal channels are used.

IS THERE ON SITE SECURITY FOR MY EVENT?

No, the only security we provide is to make sure that groups using the building are in the correct area and not wandering around our building. The front doors will be locked when the front doors are closed.

You are welcome to station your own security at our door and prop the doors open, but anyone on the street are liable to come if the doors are propped open so we recommend having someone who knows the guest list stationed near the doors.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

One of the tradeoffs of being downtown is that there is not a lot of space for parking on site. We have a few spots that are available, but most if there are more than 15 cars you will need to arrange parking off site.

There are several parking garages in walking distance and on street parking are free on the weekends. There are two Best Park lots in close walking distance and the Toyota Garage is right across the street.

We encourage you to reach out to those garages to set up parking arrangements independently.

“Visible Music College gave us an awesome opportunity to keep everything in the heart of downtown and to have an indoor event with an outdoor feel. The Atrium was a beautiful and open space, and the concert hall in the next room was great for loud music and dancing while keeping the atrium calm and quiet for food and conversation.”
