In just one year, you can earn a faith-based certificate in either Modern Music, Music Business, Music Production or Creative Leadership. You’ll gain skills and knowledge to further your career & help you land in real positions in the music industry and the church, all while experiencing Visible’s unique, Christian artist community.
We have 2 Certificate Program Options to Choose From!
Visible ONE
In Person
Get the FULL Visible experience! Come join our Memphis community for two semesters as you dive into the Certificate program of your choice. This is the perfect option for those looking to do a “Gap Year” or maybe you’re not quite ready to commit to a full bachelor’s degree program.
As an in-person Certificate student, you would have the opportunity to live in our student housing, grow spiritually in our worship times together, be challenged in accountability groups, take part in numerous Visible events, and even more! The in-person experience goes beyond just attending classes – it’s ten intense months of spiritual growth, amazing hands-on opportunities, new friendships and the training you’ve been looking for to launch you into your career.
MINIMUM ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
- Must give credible witness of a personal salvation experience and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Complete and submit the application form, answering all questions.
- Submit two references: one Pastoral and one Personal. References must not be related to the student.
- Read and sign in agreement with the Visible Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith (located in the application).
- Complete and pass the Bachelor’s level Audition and Student Life Interview.
- Submit an official high school transcript with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Must complete and pass the Wonderlic test. (or submit an ACT score of 18 or higher, or an SAT score of 960 or higher)
- Students with 12 or more attempted college credits must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 from all previous undergraduate coursework.
Visible PRO
Online
Visible’s online Certificate program is designed for those looking to gain greater knowledge in the areas of Modern Music, Music Production, Music Business, or Creative Leadership. This mode of learning is fully remote and allows you to stay in your current location. Your coursework will be distributed on a 7 week schedule, with assignments having specific deadlines, but the rest is up to you in your local spiritual community!
This program is perfect for those with a full-time job, or who are unable to relocate to our Memphis campus. We want you to have every opportunity to grow in your passion with the best instruction possible in a format that fits into your current rhythm of life.
