It's that time again. The school year is winding down, though it seems to be winding up with senior recitals, student showcases, ensemble concerts and finals all in full swing. It is a whirlwind end to a fantastic year, and the final flourish; Graduation Week. Graduation week at VISIBLE SCHOOL involves several festivities including Baccalaureate Worship on Thursday, May 13th, the World Music Concert on Friday, May 14th, and of course Commencement on Saturday, May 15th. Each of these events are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
VISIBLE SCHOOL is proud to present 29 graduates at this year's Graduation Ceremony to be held at Lifelink Memphis Church. We invite you to come celebrate with us as we honor our graduates and comission them to follow the Lord's call as 18 students recieve bachelor degrees and 11 students recieve certificates. The ceremony starts at 10am and will feature Malcolm Magee as the graduation speaker. Magee (Ph.D. Michigan State University) is the director for the Institute for the Study of Christianity and Culture and has taught history and religious studies at Michigan State and continues to teach in the history department as a visiting faculty. We are delighted to have him with us and to receive his insight.
Though we are sad to see our students go, we are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see where the Lord will lead them. It has been an honor to watch this group of students grow in knowledge and Godly character and respond the promptings and teachings of the Holy Spirit. We are confident that each one will make an impact on the Kingdom of Heaven and continue to be the VISIBLE body of God in the world. So save the date and help us send our grads off!
