Where They Are Now

Since the launch of VISIBLE SCHOOL in 2000, we have continued with our heart of training and equipping musicians, artists, technicians, business people, and ministers to affect both the arts industry and the church.

After their time of study and preparation, many of our students have gone on to plug into a variety of ministry opportunities. Some have served in local churches through leading worship, playing in worship teams, writing worship songs, being involved in creative arts ministries, leading youth ministries, and other such things. Students have also impacted the music and arts industries through playing in bands or working for recording studios, record labels, and booking agencies.

Below are a few short stories:

• Aislynn Rappe (2000-2001) - She is now the Artist and Repertoire manager of Memphis' own recording studio and label, Ardent Studios. ardentrecords.com, ardentstudios.com
• Paul Buckley (2000-2001) - Along with his wife Lex, they are worship team leaders of River City Church of Jacksonville, Florida. rccjax.com
• Marc Egles (2001-2002) - Coming from and then returning to Germany after his time at VISIBLE SCHOOL, he leads worship, along with his wife, for Janz Team Ministries. janzteam.com
• Brian Porter (2003-2005) - He has begun his own guitar-making company called Porter Guitars giving great attention to detail along with the goal of putting out guitars with both great craftsmanship and great looks. porterguitars.com
• Wes Leyshon (2004-2006) - VISIBLE SCHOOL's first graduate with a Bachelor of Ministry in Media Production, Audio emphasis. Wes now heads up his own recording business called Leyshon Recording and Production. Check out myspace.com/wesleyshon.
• Trevor and Heather Flynn (2004-2005) - Moved to England in August of 2007 to serve on the staff of Nexus Music Academy located in the city of Coventry. Trevor is heading up the live sound division of Nexus and Heather works as the Student Relations Administrator. They recently released a new album that is available on iTunes. www.nexustrust.co.uk
• Our production and artist development company, VISIBLE MEDIA GROUP (VMG), continue to work with graduates, former students, and even current students of VISIBLE SCHOOL. They have signed two bands, one acoustic duo, and two solo artists. visiblemediagroup.com. The bands and artists include:
  • Autumn Fox, a folk singer/songwriter
  • Battle Victorius, acoustic duo of Todd and Emily Marriott
  • Jerod Wilson, thoughtfully artistic solo artist
• And of course, we must not forget all of our graduates who currently serve on the staff of VISIBLE SCHOOL.
