How to Apply
Applying to a music college can be an intimidating proces. Don't worry. We are on your side, and eager to help in any way we can. Visible Music College exists to train and equip you for vocational ministry and has a two-step application process. You will not be able to move on to Step Two until you have passed Step One. Our Office of Admissions will be there to help you along the way, so feel free to contact us.
To start the application process, you will need to click on “Apply Now” on the right side of our site. After you submit your request to start an application, one of our Admissions Counselor will import an application for you onto your Populi profile (you will get login instructions from Populi once we import your information).
Now you’ll be able to actually start completing your application components!
Once you log into your Populi account, you will be able to see all the needed components and your progress on each one.
Step One:
- Complete and submit 1.a. General and Personal Information.
- Complete and submit 1.b. Essay Questions.
- Complete and submit 1.c. Application Video.
- Submit 1.d. Application Fee ($40.00).
Upon completion of Step One, the Application and Application Video will be reviewed. If invited to an Audition and Interview, you may proceed and complete Step Two.
Step Two:
- Complete 2.a. your live audition/interview/theory test (MMM program only). You must be invited to an audition day. If you are invited, it will be one of the following days: November 11, February 3, April 13 or June 15.
- Read, sign, and submit 2.b. Statement of Faith Signature Page.
- Submit 2.c. Official ACT/SAT scores (No ACT required for college transfer student or student over the age of 24).
- Submit 2.d. Official transcripts from previous high school and college. (High - school transcript not required for college transfer student.)
- 2.e. Have a Pastoral reference submit a reference form.
- 2.f. Have a Personal reference submit a reference form.
- 2.g. Have a Artistic reference submit a reference form.
Once the Admissions Process is complete (Step One and Step Two), your Admissions File is individually reviewed by the following offices: Director of Admissions Development, Director of Academic Development, and the Director of Student Development.

Music Business
The Music Business Audition is mainly an interview, however the instructors would like to see samples of any work you have done in the Music Business Ministry. You will be asked to submit a portfolio of your skills, experiences, and/or Involvement in or with the music industry. Examples include booking or promoting shows, managing bands, working at a local radio station, volunteering at concerts or clubs, writing CD or concert reviews, or anything else related to the music industry.

Modern Music
During the Modern Music Ministry audition, you will be asked to perform various techniques and skills that you have learned on your instrument. You will also need to prepare pieces ahead of time that the staff has selected. This will demonstrate your ability to learn a song and play certain styles that are not necessarily your preference. Again, this is only to help us know where your skill level is and how you can benefit from instruction at VISIBLE SCHOOL.

Media Production
The Media Production Audition is mainly an interview, however the instructors would like to see samples of any work you have done in the studio or live. You will be asked to submit a CD of 1-3 recording projects that you have taken part in. You will also have an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to operate in a live sound environment.
