Choosing a college is a difficult decision that requires a lot of prayerful consideration. Meet your admissions team:

     JenniferPerkins - Admissions Counselor

Hometown: Superior, WI

Jennifer first started working in the Admissions Office as a student worker in the summer of 2010, and moved up to full-time staff after she graduated as the Salutatorian of the 2011 class. While at Visible, Jennifer also met her college sweetheart, Steve. They married in May 2011, and currently reside in downtown, Memphis.

When asked about why she works in admissions, she answered, "I enjoy meeting prospective students, and sharing in their excitement when they find out about Visible Music College." Jennifer moved to Memphis, TN in 2008 to pursue a Bachelors degree in Modern Music Ministry in Songwriting at Visible Music College, after discovering Visible at the Christian music festival, SonShine.

If Jennifer wasn't in the admissions office, she would be writing jingles and songs for other artist. 

Favorite Band: She listens to a broad genre of music, but enjoys listening to Christmas music the most.

 

      Mary Steele - Admissions Counselor 

Hometown: Lititz, PA 

Mary says, "I am married to Nick Steele, one of the guitar instructors at Visible. He's pretty awesome." Mary graduated from Visible with a Keyboard and a Worship certificate. When asked why she works in admissions, she responded, "There are a few things I love about working at Visible. I love working in a place where I build lasting friendships with the staff and students. The community and atmosphere is wonderful and it makes working at my job that much better."

If Mary wasn't in the admissions office, she would want to be playing keys/piano for a band or artist. 

Favorite Band: Mary has many favorites, but her absolute favorite is Coldplay.

   Zak McQueen - Student Worker

Hometown: Cleveland, GA

Zak is currently a student at Visible Music College, pursuing a Bachelor of Modern Music Ministry in Worship Leadership. He would be doing homework if he wasn't in the admissions office. He says, "Visible Music College is a place that God has shown me Himself. I'm constantly taken back by His miraculous power and working here has only increased that experience."

When asked why he chose to work in admissions as a student, he said, "My Favorite thing about working at Visible Music College is the wonderful God focused atmosphere and compassionate, Christian co-workers."

       Emily Sponsler - Director of Admissions 

Hometown: Savage, MN

Emily came to Memphis in July 2007. She graduated from Visible Music College with a Bachelor's degree in the Worship program. "I work in admissions because I beleive in what Visible does and I love being able to help students find and experience the same unique school that I did." 

When Emily isn't in the admissions office she is drinking a chai while enjoying the great outdoors or finding a great new pair of shoes. 

Favorite band: "I have a hard time choosing just one but if I had to choose, Regina Spektor or James Vincent McMorrow."
