The Worship Leadership workshop exists to train worship leaders in the art of music and spiritual leadership, and for practical application of techniques and service in the church. We recognize that worship leaders are consistently called to a higher place of service, and to be leaders in excellence. The design of this workshop focuses on equipping leaders with the skills needed to impact the ever changing modern church.
The bass/guitar workshop is designed to train guitarists/bassist for practical application of techniques and service in the church. Participants will receive hands-on training in theoretical application of scales and chords, alternate chord voicings, and musicianship. This program will help move guitarists/bassist toward a deeper understanding of instrumental function, balance, sensitivity, and creativity within the worship setting.
The keyboard workshop is designed to enlighten the keyboardist’s view of their role on a worship team. Many keyboard/piano players find it difficult to play in a group without getting lost in the mix or “overplaying.” However, their role is key for many worship teams, to make smooth transitions and to offer a sensitivity when needed. This workshop provides an overview of the techniques and sounds that are necessary to help them stand out more and add to the overall sound. Hopefully, you will not want to go without your keyboard player after they have been through this workshop.
The drum workshop through Visible Worship Training will set you on the path that grooves! This workshop is not simply about the rudiments. Musicians will learn to think differently about time, tempo, and technique, all while strengthening their phrasing and musicality.
The vocal workshop focuses on being both the lead and background vocalist. The emphasis of the workshop is on technique and learning to listen first, then sing. Musicians will learn tips and tools to improve both harmonies and individual singing.
Participants in Visible Worship Training will receive a crash-course in music theory. This workshop is tailored to each worship team and will help musicians grow in their weak areas. Workbooks will be provided for further study. This is invaluable training!
